M3 MacBook Pro Design and Features
Except for the availability of a sleek new Space Black color in addition to Silver, the M3 Pro and M3 Max editions of the MacBook Pro retain the same design as the M2 models. The only available colors for the basic M3 14-inch model are currently Space Grey and Silver. The Titanium option, which some Mac enthusiasts had been requesting, is missing.
The SDR brightness of the display has increased somewhat from 500 nits in earlier generations to 600 nits.
Apart from a little brighter display, the characteristics are indistinguishable. Apple’s battery life statistics are identical to those of the M2 generation; the MacBook Pro with M2 has the same dimensions and weight, and so do the camera, microphones, speakers, ports, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth features.
M3 MacBook Pro Specs and price
Although the starting price of the 14-inch MacBook Pro models has decreased, the M3 models are more costly than their M2 counterparts, which were priced at $1,599/£1,699 for the 14-inch M3 model and $1,299/£1,349 for the now-discontinued 13-inch M2 model.
While the 1TB model is now cheaper in both countries (it was $2,499/$2,699, now $2,399/£2,499), the entry-level 14-inch M3 Pro is still the same price in the U.S. but now £50 less in the U.K.
The M3 Pro 16-inch’s starting price in the United States remains the same, however, it has decreased in the United Kingdom (from $2,499/$2,699 to $2,499/£2,599). The top-of-the-line 16-inch M3 Pro model is more expensive than its M2 Pro counterpart, but it has half the storage (1TB is now 512GB) and 36GB of Unified Memory instead of 16GB.
The M3 Max versions have distinct prices as well. The 14-inch M3 Max model now costs $100 more in the U.S., while the 16-inch model costs the same (there’s now an extra M3 Max model in the 16-inch range). The Max versions are now less expensive in the U.K.

FAQ
Does MacBook Pro have M chip?
The M1 marks the introduction of Apple Silicon, the company’s new paradigm. The MacBook Air, the 13-inch MacBook Pro, the Mac mini, and the new 24-inch iMac are among the latest Macs that are compatible with the M1. A M1 is also used in the most recent iPad Pro.
Is M2 worth it over M1?
Though the MacBook Air M1 isn’t far behind, the MacBook Air M2 is the superior notebook. If you have an extra $100 to pay, the MacBook Air M2 is a better option. In addition to having a better webcam and keyboard, a brighter screen, a much longer battery life, and a little bit more performance power, it also features a separate charging connector.
